1. Diaphragmatic Breathing

Also known as deep belly breathing, diaphragmatic breathing involves breathing deeply into your belly rather than shallowly into your chest. To practice this technique, sit or lie down comfortably, place one hand on your chest and the other on your belly, inhale deeply through your nose, feeling your belly rise, and exhale slowly through your mouth. Repeat this for several breaths.

2. Box Breathing

Box breathing is a simple technique used by many to reduce stress and increase focus. Start by exhaling all the air from your lungs, then inhale deeply for a count of four, hold your breath for a count of four, exhale for a count of four, and hold your breath again for a count of four. Repeat this cycle for several minutes.

3. Alternate Nostril Breathing

This breathing technique is said to balance the two hemispheres of the brain and promote a sense of inner harmony. Sit comfortably with your spine straight, use your right thumb to close your right nostril and inhale deeply through your left nostril. Then close your left nostril with your right ring finger, release your right nostril, and exhale through the right nostril. Repeat this pattern for several breaths.
